Kimberly Beaton believes that successful wealth management begins with helping clients understand their goals, not just in financial terms, but in life terms. Her primary objective is to build long-term wealth for her clients by helping them identify their goals and applying that knowledge to their investment strategy. Kim develops personalized financial plans and investment portfolios that are aligned with each client’s values, putting them on a path to lasting financial security. An integral part of this path involves ongoing risk management through responsible investment.

Before joining Scotia Wealth Management in 2019, Kim spent a decade at the International Monetary Fund where she advised countries on policies to foster economic and financial stability. Notably, she contributed to Canada’s global policy leadership as Senior Advisor to the Executive Director for Canada, Ireland, and the Caribbean. Kim also spent several years working at the Bank of Canada as a senior economist to the United States. Now working in personal finance, Kim finds it greatly rewarding to work with clients who can take ownership of their financial future and act unimpeded by politics.

A skilled and dedicated advisor, Kim is known for her ability to take complex financial topics and convey them to clients in a clear, effective manner. Outside of the office, Kim enjoys travel, hiking our beautiful local trails, boating on the Kennebecasis River, and spending time with her family.

Morgan Clark is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with about a decade of finance and accounting experience. Having worked for a large conglomerate prior to joining Scotia Wealth Management, Morgan has first-hand experience with financial statement preparation and analysis for businesses across multiple industries. She is skilled in evaluating and reporting key performance indicators to stakeholders, keeping them on track to succeed in reaching their goals and objectives. With this background, Morgan is well-positioned to evaluate investment opportunities and build portfolios for her clients, while bringing a holistic perspective to the advice she provides.

Morgan has a passion for financial education and has a talent for making challenging topics seem less intimidating and easier to grasp. She has shared her financial knowledge across a wide spectrum, having taught a business administration course at the university level as well as having trained business executives on financial statement analysis. She now enjoys sharing her knowledge with clients, guiding them to make informed decisions to realize their long-term objectives and secure their financial future.

Living in the heart of Uptown Saint John with her husband, Andrew, together they enjoy taking in all the area has to offer, namely, the vibrant restaurant scene. She also enjoys travelling, reading and cooking.

Dennis Flood has worked in the financial services industry for over 35 years, including a decade in the role of Regional Director, Atlantic for ScotiaMcLeod. Throughout his career, Dennis’ responsibilities have evolved to reflect his natural leadership qualities as well as his knowledge in personal finance. Dennis played an instrumental role in transforming the firm from an investment-only focus to a comprehensive wealth management platform, delivering high-quality financial products and exceptional client care. This leadership is evident in the outcomes-based approach of the Beaton Flood Group.

Dennis offers a comprehensive understanding of investment risk management and specializes in helping entrepreneurs effectively convert corporate wealth to personal wealth. He excels in guiding individuals and families towards their goals as part of a Total Wealth Plan, and takes great satisfaction in his clients’ success.

A lifelong learner who is dedicated to ongoing education, Dennis continues to advance his skills and knowledge through the Investments and Wealth Institute. He has achieved a number of professional designations and served as director on a number of boards. Dennis is currently the Chairman of Saint Francis Xavier University’s Board of Governors.

Dennis is an active member of his community who supports Bobby’s Hospice, Community Food Basket, and the Saint Joseph’s Hospital Foundation, among other charitable endeavors. He loves to travel and, in his downtime, can often be found boating, skiing, golfing, or playing squash.

Brandi-Lee Wetmore provides efficient, effective administrative support as well as outstanding client service. She handles requests seamlessly and with a consistently positive approach, working closely with Dennis and Kim to help achieve client goals. Brandi-Lee is an excellent communicator and multitasker who is dedicated to expanding her skills and knowledge through ongoing training and hands-on learning opportunities.

Brandi-Lee joined Scotia Wealth Management in 2008. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course, Wealth Management Essentials, and is a graduate of the Investment Management Program at the New Brunswick Community College. Brandi-Lee has worked with Dennis Flood for over a decade and is an integral part of the Beaton Flood Group.

A longtime volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, Brandi-Lee also donates her time to several church-led clubs and youth programs in the community. Married with two sons, Brandi-Lee and her family enjoy camping and spending time outdoors.

Rebekah is engaged in the development of your highly customized and comprehensive total wealth plan – the true foundation of your experience and the measure of future success. As part of this planning process, Rebekah explores relevant financial, retirement, tax, Will and estate strategies. She has extensive experience providing financial planning advice to clients with complex and sophisticated needs and goals.

David Pender

David is responsible for delivering tailored Estate and Trust solutions. He has been with the Scotiabank Group and has worked in the financial industry since 1997. David is a graduate of the Bachelor of Business Administration program at the University of New Brunswick. He has completed the Personal Trust Services Phase I and is currently enrolled in Phase II.
